Tryouts next week for the Blue Devil Dance Team -- South's newest varsity sport!
4:00-6:30 p.m. | Wednesday, May 30 | South Gym.
Schedule:
- 4:00-4:15 p.m. - Check in
- 4:15-5:00 p.m. - Warm up and skills
- 5:00-6:00 p.m. - Choreography and tryout
- 6:00-6:30 p.m. - Info session with Q&A
What you need:
- Completed physical form* (dated after April 15, 2018)
- Stamped emergency gold card* (will be stamped by athletic office on receipt of completed physical form. Present to coach at audition)
- Tight-fitting athletic wear
- Athletic shoes and jazz shoes
- 2+ years dance experience recommended
*Available in GPSHS Athletic Office
Commitment
- Dancers will perform at all home football games (halftime show) and pep rally
- One to two one-hour practices per week after school
- Choreography in August (dates TBA)
- Pay-to-Play sport
